Booking and sales terms and conditions

On this page, you will find the terms and conditions applicable to bookings and purchases made with Mobilitas S.r.l.through the website www.mobilitasrent.com or, where applicable, directly on-site, via email, WhatsApp or through other agreed channels.

Scope of application


These conditions apply, where compatible, to:

  • e-bike rentals
  • experiences and events with e-bikes
  • ancillary activities and services, such as, for example, picnics, tastings, light lunches, meals, visits or other services booked also with third-party partners
  • individual bookings
  • group and corporate bookings
  • gift cards, vouchers, gift boxes and discount codes
  • products or services available for purchase through the website

Bookings


Bookings can be made:

  • online through the website www.mobilitasrent.com
  • directly at Mobilitas
  • via email, WhatsApp or another agreed channel

Bookings made through the website are considered received and registered automatically at the time of payment.

However, Mobilitas reserves the right to cancel, modify or reschedule the booking in case of unavailability of the vehicle or service, overbooking, material error, failure to update availability, unforeseen organisational problems or force majeure. In such cases, the Customer will be entitled to a full refund of any amount already paid.

For bookings made directly on-site, via email, WhatsApp or other channels, confirmation occurs as agreed upon from time to time between the parties.

Prices and payments


The applicable prices are those indicated at the time of booking or those agreed directly with Mobilitas.

Payment can be made via card or other available or agreed method, depending on the type of booking and the channel used.

Gift cards, vouchers, gift boxes and discount codes


Mobilitas may issue or sell gift cards, gift vouchers, gift boxes and discount codes.

  • The gift cards and the gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
  • The gift cards are non-refundable.
  • The gift boxes shipped to home are non-refundable.
  • Discount codes may be for single or multiple use, may have an expiry date, usage limitations, conditions of combinability or other constraints, specified from time to time in the relevant communication or promotional campaign.
  • Unless otherwise stated, discount codes are not convertible into cash and do not entitle the holder to change or credit.

Identity document, waiver and customer responsibility


Upon delivery of the vehicle, the presentation of a valid identity document of the Customer may be required, of which a copy may be taken.

Before taking possession of the bicycle, the Customer must sign the rental contract / liability release form prepared by Mobilitas.

Signing the waiver is mandatory for all services that include the use of the bike. In the absence of a signature, Mobilitas may refuse to deliver the vehicle and not provide the service.

Mobilitas also reserves the right to refuse rental to individuals deemed unsuitable to operate the vehicle or for other reasons, at its sole discretion.

For minors, the taking possession of the vehicle and the related assumption of responsibility must be done by a parent, guardian or adult companion who assumes full responsibility.

The Customer is required to use the vehicle with care, to keep it properly and to return it in the same condition in which it was received.

The Customer is responsible for the proper use and custody of the vehicle and the accessories entrusted to them. In case of improper use, damage, loss, or negligence, Mobilitas reserves the right to charge the Customer for the costs incurred, applying amounts commensurate with the damage, up to the repair or replacement of components or the vehicle, where necessary.

At the time of delivery, the Customer is required to check the condition of the bicycle and to immediately report any visible defects or damage. By taking possession of the vehicle, the Customer acknowledges it as mechanically efficient and suitable for the agreed use, unless contextual reports are made.

Assistance, breakdowns and rental interruption


Rental conditions do not provide for assistance during the journey during the rental period.

In the event of rental interruption for personal reasons of the Customer or third-party users, Mobilitas is not obliged to recover the Customer or the bicycles, which must be organised at the Customer's care and expense.

In case of malfunction of the vehicle, Mobilitas must be informed immediately. Any intervention or repair must be authorised in advance by Mobilitas.

Return of the vehicle and delays


Unless otherwise agreed, the vehicle must be returned to the same pick-up point and within the agreed time.

At the time of delivery and return, the Customer and Mobilitas may jointly verify its condition.

In case of a delay of more than 15 minutes, the Customer will be required to pay a penalty equal to double the hourly rate for the time of delay.

Complaints and customer assistance

as soon as possible and, in any case, within 7 days from the date of the service or from the receipt of the product, where applicable.


Mobilitas will undertake to process the request within a reasonable time, depending on the nature of the report and any necessary documentation.

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable regulations and as indicated in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Final provisions


These conditions apply unless different written agreements have been made between Mobilitas and the Customer.

As far as not expressly provided for in these conditions, the applicable legal provisions remain in force.
