How it works
Before departure
A few days before, we will email you with the exact address of the pick-up point, between Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d'Alba, and with the confirmed time of the light lunch. At the pick-up point, they will hand you the Vespa, helmets, and under-helmets, and conduct a briefing with you on the route, driving, and safety. You will receive smartphone support on the handlebars and the GPS itinerary on the dedicated app. If you have never ridden a Vespa, there will be time to get comfortable before setting off.
- A valid driving licence is required to ride the Vespa
- Maximum total weight allowed: 150 kg per Vespa
Climb towards the Alta Langa
From the hills of Barolo, the road climbs towards Roddino, Serravalle Langhe, and Albaretto della Torre. Vineyards that turn into hazelnut groves, woods, small villages of a few houses, and curves that open up to increasingly wider valleys. This is the part of the Langhe where driving is best.
Light lunch at the Torre di Albaretto
The medieval tower is suspended between sky and hills, with a 360° view of the area.
The light lunch is served in an exclusive location: you can choose between the panoramic terrace, the private cellar, the deconsecrated chapel, or, upon request, the garden.
The menu follows the season and local products. To give you an idea: selection of local cheeses and cured meats, Langa bread in bruschetta and local flour grissini, crispy sandwich with IGP Piedmont hazelnut crackers, Piedmontese starter, dessert, and San Bernardo water.
- The light lunch must be booked at least 3 days in advance and is subject to confirmation. We will confirm the time via email.
- The menu varies based on seasonality and available products.
- Food intolerances or preferences must be communicated at the time of booking.
- If the Tower is not available on the requested date, we offer you an alternative date or a full refund
The afternoon is yours
After lunch, get back on the road and continue to explore. You can head down towards the villages of Barolo, stay at altitude between Bossolasco and Murazzano, or simply stop wherever the view convinces you. Unlimited mileage, insurance and roadside assistance included. We remain reachable by phone for any needs.
The return
You return the Vespa to the same pick-up point by 18:00.

I rented pedal-assisted bikes with some friends and then we stopped for a tasting at the winery. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the terrace with a view of the vineyards is wonderful and Olga was very helpful. An informal welcome that puts you at ease right away!
