From the vineyard to the winery: a journey by e-bike through flavours and stunning landscapes!


Set off for a day dedicated to wine and landscape. Riding an e-bike, you will independently discover the hills and villages of the Serralunga d'Alba area, following a GPS route through vineyards, castles, and UNESCO landscapes.


In the afternoon, a special break awaits you: a guided tour of the La Biòca winery and a tasting of 4 iconic wines from the Langa, including Barolo and Barbaresco, served on the panoramic terrace of the winery.


For those travelling with the family, a creative activity is available for the little ones: while the parents enjoy a tasting in peace, the children can draw their own label and have a snack.

Schedule

From 9 am Welcome and E-bike collection. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the winery, where you will be assigned the e-bike most suitable for you. After a brief briefing on the route and the use of the bike, you will be ready to set off for the self-guided tour.
Departure of the e-bike tour. The itinerary winds through the gentle hills and vineyards of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage site, passing through charming villages and scenic roads immersed in nature. During the ride, you can stop freely to admire the landscapes or take photos among the rows of vines.
Lunch break at your discretion. You can choose to take a break with a view among the vineyards or enjoy a light lunch in one of the typical trattorias along the route.

4 PM Visit to the winery and tasting. Upon your return, a guided tour of the winery awaits you: you will discover the stages of winemaking and ageing of the great wines of the Langhe, from must to Barolo. The experience concludes with a tasting of 4 selected wines, including Barolo and Barbaresco, accompanied by a platter of local typical products (optional).

Who said that wine tasting activities are only for adults?

At Cantina La Biòca, we have also thought of the children, with a creative and fun activity designed to make the day special for the whole family.


During the workshop “Design Your Label”, the little guests transform into young wine artists: with coloured markers and stickers, they will decorate the labels of real bottles of Barbera or Nebbiolo, which they will take home as a personalised memento of the day.


While they have fun, the parents can indulge in a tasting in total relaxation, with a glass in hand and a guaranteed smile. 🍷✨

I rented electric bikes with some friends and then we stopped for a tasting in the cellar. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but then the terrace with a view of the vineyards is wonderful and Olga was very helpful. An informal welcome that makes you feel at ease straight away!
