An experience tailored for both young and old, amidst hills, flavours, and creativity


Discovering the Langhe with family is not only possible, but also beautiful.

This experience is designed for parents with young children who want to engage with nature actively, enjoy local wines, and share a special moment with the whole family.


The self-guided e-bike tour will take you to explore the hills around Serralunga d'Alba, along a simple and scenic route. Upon returning to the La Biòca winery, adults will be able to visit the winery and taste four selected wines, while children will participate in the workshop "Design Your Label," decorating a real bottle to take home.


A light, tasty and fun experience, suitable for those travelling with car seats or pushchairs.

Schedule

From 9 am Welcome and E-bike collection. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the winery, where you will be assigned the e-bike most suitable for you. After a brief briefing on the route and the use of the bike, you will be ready to set off for the self-guided tour.
Departure of the e-bike tour. The itinerary winds through the gentle hills and vineyards of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage site, passing through charming villages and scenic roads immersed in nature. During the ride, you can stop freely to admire the landscapes or take photos among the rows of vines.
1 PM Return to the Winery and guided tour. Here you will discover the stages of winemaking and ageing of the great wines of the Langhe, from the must to Barolo. Following this, a light lunch with authentic flavours, featuring tastings paired with four selected labels. All of this on the panoramic terrace of the estate.
1:30 PM Light lunch, tasting and activities for children. While the parents relax on the panoramic terrace with a guided tasting of four selected wines, the children immerse themselves in a creative activity designed just for them: using markers and stickers, they personalise the label of a real bottle of wine, which they can then take home as a unique memento of the day. A moment of shared enjoyment, where both young and old experience the Langa in their own way, but together.

Indicative menu for the light lunch: selection of dishes from the Piedmontese tradition, such as frittata or anchovies in green sauce, peppers with tuna sauce, Russian salad, local cured meats and cheeses, focaccia and artisan grissini (menu subject to availability).

Who said that wine tasting activities are only for adults?

At Cantina La Biòca, we have also thought of the children, with a creative and fun activity designed to make the day special for the whole family.


During the workshop “Design Your Label”, the little guests transform into young wine artists: with coloured markers and stickers, they will decorate the labels of real bottles of Barbera or Nebbiolo, which they will take home as a personalised memento of the day.


While they have fun, the parents can indulge in a tasting in total relaxation, with a glass in hand and a guaranteed smile. 🍷✨

Io e il mio amico eravamo in vacanza in Piemonte e abbiamo preso in prestito delle biciclette per visitare i vigneti locali. Questa è una regione piuttosto collinare, motivo per cui abbiamo scelto l'opzione e-bike. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti! I proprietari ed io abbiamo comunicato in inglese senza problemi, ci hanno spiegato tutto e ci hanno consigliato i posti che avremmo potuto visitare durante il nostro tour. Bellissimo paesaggio, ottimo vino e biciclette e servizio perfetti. Lo consiglio a tutti! :))

Io e i miei amici abbiamo noleggiato 4 e-bike tutta la giornata. Federica è stata super gentile e disponibile. Ci ha consigliato un giro ad anello da fare in base alle nostre esigenze, e alcune degustazioni. Paesaggi stupendi! La loro cantina vista Langhe è davvero spettacolare! Consiglio assolutamente!

Ho affittato con alcuni amici le bici a pedalata assistita e poi ci siamo fermati per la degustazione in cantina. Da fuori non sembra ma poi la terrazza con vista sui vigneti è meravigliosa ed Olga è stata molto disponibile. Un'accoglienza informale che mette subito a proprio agio!
